Mary Ann Mackenzie – Landscape painting | 3 day course | August
The School of Art and Wellbeing is set in stunning Devon countryside, where you can immerse yourself in the pursuit of understanding of what makes a good landscape painting.
Mary Ann Mackenzie will drive your own interests further, whether you are a beginner or one with experience she will bring a new vigour and energy to “see” the world around you – pushing the boundaries while also holding onto some of the rules of composition, atmospheric distance and tonal change. Using layering and texture to help build a new exciting visual language that expresses the countryside in all is changing colours.
Under the careful tuition of Mary Ann Mackenzie come and be helped to explore landscape painting with a more open approach and allow the flow of eye and hand connection to be so ‘busy’ that the critical voice is silenced.
Delicious vegetarian lunches, a bottomless coffee/tea pot and all materials are included in the price.
Friday 28th, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August 2020
