Mary Ann Mackenzie – Life Drawing | 2 day course | August
“Be brave enough to be bad at something new and surprise yourself”
A whole weekend to steep yourself in the practice of life drawing using a huge variety of materials, techniques and experimentation to help remove the fear of ‘getting it right’. Trick the mind with unusual drawing tools which discourages the reach for perfection but instead can surprise yourself with mark making that expresses the essence of the human form, letting you see a new language take shape.
Under the careful tuition of Mary Ann Mackenzie come and be helped to explore the human figure with a more open approach and allow the flow of eye and hand connection to be so ‘busy’ that the critical voice is silenced.
Delicious vegetarian lunches, a bottomless coffee/tea pot and all materials are included in the price.
